Who's looking out for manufactured housing tenants?
Yes, I was happy to hear that the rent justification legislation was passed, but what about the homeowners who pay for homeowners insurance and have a claim, only to find out that their home isn't really worth what they are paying for?
To my horror I was unaware of the fact that a manufactured home was considered an automobile. I find it very hard to drive my home.
Homeowners who are insuring their hoes for $80,000 and higher will be in for a rude awakening. I was informed by my insurance company that our homes are considered autos and lose value every year, just like autos.
So, my question to anyone who can give me an answer is why spend money insuring a home if you are not going to receive enough money back if something happens and you have to start over. I really don't think I want to be homeless.
