Life in Delaware is not only relaxing, charming, and beautiful, but can also save you money. With a rich history and friendly community, Rehoboth Beach is among one of the top destinations in Delaware. However, it’s not the only destination worth navigating. Lewes, Bethany Beach, and Fenwick Island among others are all beautiful communities and places to live, visit or call home.

Delaware has over 24 miles of coastal beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, which are rated among the cleanest in the nation. The sandy beaches are joined by great restaurants serving a large variety of cuisines.

Many popular film and music festivals also take place in Delaware, and there’s much more entertainment to be had in the over 40 golf courses across the state. Sixteen of these courses are in Sussex County alone, and more than half are near the beach. The mile-long Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk is ranked as one of America’s best.

According to International Business Times, Delaware is the 7th lowest overall for state and local tax burdens as compared to the national average. Delaware also happens to be one of just four states with no sales tax.

Unemployment rates in Delaware have been steadily declining for the last four years and are currently the lowest since 2008. The Tax Foundation lists Delaware as #2 in the unemployment insurance tax rate.

In addition to calm atmospheres and happy family life, Delaware and the Rehoboth Beach area are both full of exciting, energetic night life destinations. Major cities such as Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. are within three hours or less drives.

Buying a home in Delaware comes with all these benefits and more. CoreLogic’s monthly rankings of home price appreciation show Delaware with a 5.2% growth for the year (Delaware Business Daily).

Come see the wonderful environment and relaxing life waiting for you in the Lewes, Bethany Beach, Rehoboth Beach and Fenwick areas of Delaware!
