Worcester Prep students give to children in need

Each year, Worcester Preparatory School students in the Lower School select gifts for children who may not otherwise receive gifts during the holidays. They and their parents wrap the gifts and label them so the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office will know which gifts are appropriate for which age boys and girls. The gifts are then brought to school and presented to Santa.

With Santa are (l-r) Layla Webster, Berlin, Md., and Greenbackville, Va.; Jacob Brasure, Roxana; Anisha Batra, Lewes; and Lena Parker, Berlin.

Presenting their gifts to Santa are (l-r) Carter McCabe, Bethany Beach; Ayush Batra, Lewes; Kate Lindsay, Fenwick Island; Olivia Kondraschow, Dagsboro, Maggie Miller, Salisbury, Md.; and Abbey Miller, Salisbury. Back left is Dena Holloway, who directs the program for the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office. (Source: Submitted)
