Xi Sigma chapter donates to Gull House

The Xi Sigma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority donated a check to the Gull House at its monthly meeting March 14. Beta Sigma Phi International, ΒΣΦ, is a non-academic sorority with 200,000 members in chapters around the world. The sorority was founded for the social, cultural, and civic enrichment of its members. Funds raised from a variety of fundraisers totaling $2,500 was donated to the Gull House.

The Gull House is a structured and supervised adult care program designed for functionally impaired persons who are 60 years of age or older. The primary goals are to avoid or forestall institutional placement; to support or improve social, mental, emotional, and physical levels of functioning; to enhance the quality of life; and to provide respite to family caregivers.
